R.S. had active comprehensive orthodontic treatment that lasted only 12 months. The gold standard for orthodontic retention is placement of lingually bonded retainers. Bonded retention eliminates patient compliance as a factor in orthodontic retention. Our patients do not get relapse of spaces or dental rotations.
